What is an Alternate?
Alternates are Cost Items that may slightly differ from what is specified for the project as outlined in the Project Manual or Specifications by the Architect or Owner of the project. (Ex. Finding an HVAC unit that meets the required specification, yet at a lower cost/different brand than specified).
